Alyson, 34, was insulted that her best friend of more than 20 years misbehaved on her big day.

Alyson recently opened up about her relationship with her childhood best friend Miranda, 35, in a devastating account. She started excited to be Miranda’s supporter on her wedding day, but soon ran into trouble:
“Last weekend my best childhood friend got married. Being there to help her on her special day filled me with excitement and happiness.
Bad things started happening in our relationship right away.
Miranda placed strict restrictions on Alyson when she asked her to be a bridesmaid: “She immediately told me she was going to make me dress ‘girly.’ She gave me a list of prerequisites that included growing my hair to at least bob length and wearing heels and a dress. In addition, I had to tan and dye my hair.
The worst thing that happened to me was that I had to put on body makeup to cover the tattoo. A lifelong whore, Alyson found these expectations troubling, but agreed to everything but growing her hair.
Alyson tried to compromise, but Miranda kicked her out of the bridesmaid’s line.
Alyson was very affected by this situation, although she decided to attend the wedding and felt hurt.
As events unfolded, Alyson’s resentment grew.
Despite their strained relationship, Alyson went on to share how Miranda asked her to do the wedding favors and oversee the dessert table: “I’m a chocolatier, so Miranda asked me if I could do the wedding favors and make the whole dessert. Table.’, which was the big hit of the day.
But Miranda’s treatment of Alyson didn’t get better—in fact, it got worse: “She told me that Miranda wanted to keep costs down because the wedding was about to go over budget.” According to her, my husband wasn’t invited. Alyson revealed that her husband wanted to expand his portfolio as a videographer and that he works as a wedding photographer.
They were aware that Miranda and her future husband were missing a cameraman.
Then Alyson’s husband suggested that they have a professional wedding video shot for them and he would do it for free. According to the woman, “We could work with the other vendors if we moved to the vendor table because Miranda was very happy about that.” It was decided that we would sit next to the vendors because we thought it was cool.
After that, things got unhealthy.
“My husband and I arrived four hours early on the day of the wedding to help with the event,” Alyson wrote. I set up the dessert table and he spent time filming.
After the wedding, the original space was turned into a reception and people moved into the common room.
While helping to rearrange the room, I was shocked to learn that my best friend had forgotten to put our names on the seat map.
Alyson and her husband were not on the list so they had to sit in a different area and there didn’t seem to be a vendor table.
The reception was cut off from the other room; they were unable to see, hear or even communicate with anyone.
The whole thing hurt Alyson deeply.
“After it was suggested that we sit in a separate room, I went over to Miranda to explain the situation,” Alyson stated. It was a mix-up, she claimed. Even though I got everything, Miranda did nothing to arrange our transfer to the main room. The reception was suddenly shut down. I spent most of the evening crying in the bathroom and missed the entire ceremony. To create a beautiful video for them, my husband filmed everything.
“After the whole situation, I texted Miranda and told her how I felt,” Alyson wrote as she finished the letter. She started apologizing, saying that she was distracted that day. She expressed deep regret and a desire to remain friends. And right now all I want is to never see her again.
