A horrifying image of the moment a forklift crashed into a man, cutting him in half, has been shared online. A young man suffered a horrific accident in which he was split in half by a forklift.
In a terrible tragedy in 2019, Loren Schauers of Wilsall, Montana was operating a forklift when he fell over a bridge.
The 21-year-old’s lower half of his torso and one of his arms were crushed when he landed after falling 50 feet to the ground below.
In the end, Loren decided to undergo a hemicorperectomy, which allows the patient to amputate the entire lower body. This allowed him to narrowly escape death. These days, he and his wife Sabia share glimpses of their lives with visitors on YouTube, where they have amassed more than 540,000 subscribers.
According to The Daily Star, Loren shared a picture on Instagram of the time the forklift tragedy nearly claimed his life. The photo shows the aftermath of a close call in which he got too close to the edge due to traffic and fell over a bridge in a truck.
“If you look closely in the second photo, you can see me still pinned under the forklift!” he saidhttps://t.co/XmhX19eRPB

If you look closely at the second shot, you can see me still stuck under the forklift, according to Loren, who claimed the picture shows him trapped under the forklift.
How Loren manages to use the toilet without genitalia is the question he gets most often, which he and his wife addressed in a Q&A video they shared on YouTube.
The question was raised by Sabia, who said, “The biggest question that has been asked since our original video is how Loren goes to the bathroom.”
As a result, Loren revealed: “A colostomy, which is my colon, which is removed from my body so I can empty myself. I also have bilateral nephrostomies, which are tubes that go into my kidneys and empty them into bags, which explains, how I defecate.” And then, his wife said, she is able to care for Loren’s complex digestive system by changing his colostomy bags.
Of course, the obvious question about whether Loren has any private parts at all is directed at the pair. “We get questions like, ‘Does he have any private parts?’ “He has a lower body amputation. “Look for a hemicorporectomy if it doesn’t answer your questions,” Sabia said.
Despite Loren’s severe injuries, the pair were able to improve and thrive as a unit after the disaster. The couple had barely been together for about 18 months when Loren was crushed by a forklift. Nevertheless, they stayed together and eventually married in 2021.
Sabia stated that “being together has definitely strengthened a lot of aspects of our relationship,” adding that “we’ve become much more appreciative of the little things that we used to take for granted as a couple.”
Reflecting on their journey, Sabia shared that going through such a traumatic experience strengthened their relationship and deepened their appreciation for the simple joys they previously took for granted.
Loren’s story is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the power of love and support to overcome adversity. Through their YouTube channel, they not only share their personal experiences but also inspire and educate others about life after a life-changing injury. The couple’s courage and determination are a reminder to cherish each moment and find strength in the face of unimaginable challenges.
