In October 2023, Isabella received a diagnosis of medulloblastoma.

She had previously experienced chronic headaches as a freshman at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.

“I didn’t realize anything was wrong until probably around October 1,” she told Roberts. “That’s when I definitely noticed the headache, the nausea, I couldn’t walk straight.”

“I feel good. Not too bad,” she noted, adding that she will begin therapy next month.

Before receiving her diagnosis, Isabella experienced occasional dizziness and thought this was the cause of her migraines. However, one day in October last year, she became ill and started vomiting blood. That’s when she realized there was a big problem.

“I realized it probably wasn’t a good idea. I wrote to my sister, who then informed the rest of the family.”

“That’s when we decided, ‘You really need to go for a thorough inspection,'” Michael said. “I’m very thankful for the doctor. I think the doctor’s decision to “do a full check-up” saved her life.

After a series of tests and scans, doctors at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center found a golf ball-sized tumor growing rapidly in the back of her brain.

Michael said, “I don’t really remember much.” “All I remember is trying to figure out the fastest route to Los Angeles.

Plus, it just doesn’t look real. It didn’t seem right.

After months of radiation treatment, surgery, and recovery, Isabelle was finally allowed to ring the bell.

“It was excellent. It was quite lucky to have 30 sessions in six weeks.

“It’s been about two months since I last spoke, which is definitely hard. It’s hard to keep it in, so I don’t want to hide it anymore,” she said. “I’m hoping to just be a little bit of a voice and be [someone] that those going through chemotherapy or radiation can look up to.”

Her father continued: “I truly believe that in many ways, having an incredible daughter makes me the luckiest man in the world. I am aware that she is going through this, but I also know that she will succeed and that we are never given. more than we can handle.”

Isabella is now cancer-free and we are extremely happy.

In conclusion, Isabella’s journey through brain cancer diagnosis and treatment was marked by resilience, courage, and unwavering support from her family. Despite many challenges, including surgery, radiation treatment, and recovery, Isabella emerged victorious and rang the bell as a symbol of her triumph over cancer. Through her openness and willingness to share her story, she has become a beacon of hope and inspiration for others facing similar battles.
