Brittany Aldean, the wife of country music star Jason Aldean, recently spoke out against Balenciaga by publicly declaring that she will no longer carry any more of the fashion brand’s products into her home.
In a social media statement released on Wednesday, Brittany Aldean made it clear that she will no longer be carrying any more Balenciaga products into her home.
The 33-year-old wife of Jason Aldean posted a selfie on Instagram in which she leaves the house with transparent plastic bags.
She was responding to the design house’s recent incident after it was criticized for a Christmas ad image that saw young models posing with bags of teddy bears draped in BDSM gear.
This summer, Brittany faced criticism for remarks she made that were transphobic, prompting vehement backlash from a number of country artists, including Maren Morris.
She wore her shoulder-length blonde hair in soft waves, accented by her large black cat-eye glasses. She stood tall in a pair of black pointed-toe platform shoes.
For her pose, she chose transparent plastic bags rather than the typical opaque garbage bags. They featured Balenciaga accessories like a $3,000 orange handbag and $400 sandals.
The blue wallet appeared to be the one the company sells for around $2,500, but the blue version appears to be sold out. The black item, with the name of the fashion house written in white block letters, appeared to be a sweatshirt that costs a hefty $1,050.
Additionally, Brittany appeared to be carrying a backpack over her shoulder that contained additional gray Balenciaga clothing.
It’s trash day at Balenciaga, she captioned the photo.
Balenciaga recently faced criticism after releasing its Holiday 2022 marketing campaign.
Balenciaga’s Plush Toy Bag, which was created to resemble a glowing teddy bear but was actually clad in black straps reminiscent of BDSM gear, was used in gruesome photos of young children posing with it.
Although the young people did not appear to be dressed or posed in a S*xually explicit manner, the photoset included other disturbing elements such as emptied champagne and wine flutes.
Balenciaga first transferred the responsibility of photography to the Parisian photographer Gabriele Galimberti.

Balenciaga first transferred the responsibility of photography to the Parisian photographer Gabriele Galimberti.
The company then acknowledged that Galimberti had little influence on the shoot, as he does not appear to have created or embellished the scene he was shooting.
To make matters worse, the terrifying connection to pedophilia was also highlighted in another Balenciaga image.
Celebrities including Nicole Kidman and Bella Hadid were captured in a professional setting in what appeared to be a skyscraper for the brand’s Spring 2023 campaign.
However, a copy of the Supreme Court’s decision in United States v. Williams, which addressed whether or not child pornography can be considered a protected form of free speech, was seen on one of the images by keen observers.
Although the two shots were unrelated, several critics were concerned that when they were linked, it revealed a disturbing culture at Balenciaga.
The designer label criticized North Six Inc., the firm that oversaw the shoot, for its “reckless negligence” despite speculation that the documents may have been leftovers from the production of the courtroom drama.
It should be noted that North Six Inc. only contributed to the spring 2023 campaign and not the holiday ad, which featured young models and BDSM bears.
An art book by painter Michael Borremans was featured in the Spring 2023 shoot, although the documents may have been inappropriately placed as props.
Belgian artist Borremans has had a varied career, but he is the creator of the disturbing series of paintings Fire From The Sun from 2017.
The images show a group of toddlers against a background that looks like a photo studio backdrop, but in some images, the naked children are surrounded by severed limbs that likely belong to unknown adults, while in others they are covered in blood and appear to have been castrated.
Balenciaga brand ambassador Kim Kardashian recently revealed that she is rethinking her association with the design house. However, she received harsh criticism from critics for continuing to maintain her association with the company.
Brittany has had her own scandal after making transphobic remarks condemned by Maren Morris and other country artists.
I would really like to thank my parents for not changing my gender when I was going through my wild era, Brittany said in the preparation video, apparently out of nowhere. I enjoy being a woman.
Maren and Cassadee Pope were outraged by her comments, which suggested that parents were pressuring their children to transition and seemed to suggest that transgender people were just going through a phase.
“One would think that the stars of beauty companies would see the benefits of including LGBTQ+ individuals in their messaging,” Cassadee, 32, said in her response on Twitter on Friday. In contrast, we are now hearing someone liken their “booze phase” to a desire to transition. Very great.
Is it as simple as not being a scumbag? Maren, 32, replied. Insurrection Barbie, sell your clip-ins and go.
“Scoring easy points by picking on trans kids is not something that’s brave,” Marena’s husband and collaborator Ryan Hurd noted in a tweet.
Later, Brittany went further and equated gender-affirming medical care with genital mutilation on social media.
She added: “Some parents are willing to make life-changing decisions for their children, who are not old enough to fully understand the consequences of their actions because they are desperate to be accepted by society.”
Another of her articles questioned the appropriate age for children under 18 to undergo gender reassignment surgery or to use puberty blockers, which are believed to be reversible but may have a detrimental effect on bone density.
Another question is whether young people under the age of 18 should be able to undergo gender reassignment surgery or take puberty-blocking drugs.
Jason, Brittany’X’s husband, was constantly supportive of her, which eventually led to his PR agency losing him as a client.
As the situation continues, it highlights the power and influence individuals have in shaping public opinion and driving change. It also serves as a reminder of the importance of being aware of the potential consequences of one’s words and actions, especially in a world where social media amplifies messages and prompts quick reactions.
Brittany Aldean’s decision to ditch Balenciaga merchandise and publicly distance herself from the brand serves as a personal statement of disapproval. We’ll see how this controversy affects the future of both Brittany and Balenciaga, but it underscores the importance of responsibility and standing up for one’s values in the face of controversy.
