Her absence led to a pleasant surprise when Sheinelle Jones co-hosted alongside Jenny Bush Hager for an unforgettable fourth hour…
Hoda Kotb was conspicuously absent from TODAY with Hoda & Jenna on Tuesday, August 8, but was replaced by Sheinelle Jones, who worked with co-host Jenna Bush Hager to produce a remarkable fourth hour. The two hosts had more than enough to talk about.
In an episode of the show, Jenna mentioned her 4-year-old son Hal, whom she calls her little man. Hal recently turned four on August 2nd. She mentioned how she wanted to teach him “how to feel the emotions going through him” and cited a time when he “looked so nervous at his birthday party.”

Hal was four years old when Sheinelle found out, but it was Jenna’s response that sparked the conversation Tuesday morning. Sheinelle questioned whether it was appropriate for her to have another child after stating that it was “some time”. Do you want one more? Jenna has to hit the brakes, even if the answer is yes.
Despite Jenny Bush Hager’s clear desire to have a child, Sheinelle Jones tried to convince her during their interview to decide to have another. Sheinelle weighed in, saying: ‘I’d like to have another baby,’ before joking that she was ‘going too far’ by stirring up the debate.
It always happens when you talk to a woman who is (not committed to having another child), according to Sheinelle. Unfortunately, Jenna was forced to face the facts and say that she and her husband Henry Chase Hager are unlikely to have a fourth child, as he has reportedly decided that three children is enough.
We are not, I assure you. we are not. Henry enforced his will. They say our three babies are healthy. Jenna Bush Hager stated, “I’m 41 (and) had little health issues (while pregnant) with Hal. The ladies “had an advantage in that area, so you never know,” Jenna and Sheinelle agreed.

Sheinelle believes that if Jenna plays her cards right, her husband might be convinced, but Jenna counters that since it’s been four years since her last birth and that each of her three children are three years apart, it makes sense . that she should be expecting right now.
Henry’s failed marriage proposal is exposed by Jenna Bush Hager.
On TODAY with Hoda and Jenna on Monday, August 7, Justin Sylvester joined Jenna Bush Hager to fill in for the absent Hoda Kotb. During one of their four-hour interviews, Jenna revealed a surprising story about her marriage to Henry Chase Hager that few people knew.

Jenna obviously got ahead of herself after three months of dating, and the wedding almost didn’t happen. Henry had just informed her of his love during a night that included numerous cocktails. So what was her reaction to the confession? She made a proposal! Unfortunately, things did not turn out as expected.
“He said he loved me, and I said, “Me too! Let’s hitch a ride, she said. She’s a Sagittarius so Justin had to ask if she was a Gemini because it was so unusual for her.
Justin agreed with her statement that Sagitarrius liked to experience new things, but not to the point where the question would come up after a few months.
Fortunately for the couple, everything worked out, and three years later, Henry proposed to Laura in a real, formal fashion after anxiously reaching out to her father (then-President George W. Bush) for approval. The couple, who now have three children together, got engaged in 2007 and married on May 10, 2008.
