As per accounts, Garner was at a Santa Monica Beach parking area earlier this week when she came across a homeless man who was evidently in need of assistance. The actress reportedly slipped out of the car window and spoke to the less fortunate guest. Not only did he buckle up the wheelchair and give her the necessities, but she also realized she had no shoes. When she heard this, Garner got out of her car, kneeled down beside the man, and started putting socks on his feet, showing genuine care and concern.
Not content with just that, the star of “13 Going on 30” then attempted to offer her own shoes to the man. However, it quickly became apparent that they didn’t fit. Undeterred, Garner approached a nearby paparazzo who had been following her and asked for assistance. “What shoe size are you?” she inquired, as per Page Six. “Can I purchase your shoes for him? He needs a pair.”
The photographer asked the man about the size of his shoes, and Garner told him that he wore “half a size. “I’m 11! Should I give it to him? I can give it to him,” the paparazzo said. To his credit, the photographer refused to pay money from Garner and willingly gave up his shoes.
Of course, Garner’s generosity is unlikely to surprise anyone who has closely followed her life and career. The actress has always had a strong commitment to assisting those in need.
