Don Lemon’s demotion from his main show came as a surprise to many viewers who were used to his radical left-wing views.
CNN host Don Lemon was demoted in September 2022 after spending eight long years hosting the main program “Don Lemon Tonight”.
Chris Licht, the head of CNN, has promised to make major adjustments and steer the network in a different direction, away from exaggerated prejudice and blatant political agendas.
Despite Licht’s best attempts, Lemon remained steadfast in his decision to refuse to promote his radical leftist ideas on air.
Lemon asked Democrat John Fetterman if he had a message for incoming Twitter CEO Elon Musk, then welcomed him.
John Fetterman spent the next thirty seconds or so rambling incoherently.

Fetterman responds to Don Lemon: “I’m just really just saying that I just want to make sure that we use your tremendous, tremendous power to make sure that we don’t have a platform to push these species. theory.”
Uncertainty surrounds the “theories” that Fetterman doesn’t want to spread on Twitter.
Following up, Fetterman says, “I’m just grateful for the opportunity to say that, given that we have this opportunity, just using the platform to really be about the power of good.”
The part is, according to one commenter, “painful to watch”.
Someone else asked, “Who can we put Fetterman in a room with to make him look smart?”
Another said: “I can’t even turn on CNN anymore without pouting a little.”
Voters in Pennsylvania have chosen Democrat John Fetterman to be a US Senator.
He served as mayor of Braddock, Pennsylvania from 2006 to 2019 and as governor of Pennsylvania from 2019 to 2023.
As part of his platform, Fetterman advocated free health care as a basic human right, criminal justice reform, abolition of the death penalty, raising the federal minimum wage to $15 an hour, and legalizing marijuana.
With 59% of the vote, he secured the Democratic nomination, defeating Dr. Mehmet Oz, candidate of the Republican Party.
For the first time since 1962, the seat was won by a Democrat with Fetterman receiving 51% of the vote. He was sworn into the United States Senate on January 3, 2023.
Fetterman’s appearance on the Don Lemon show may have been a misstep, but it shouldn’t overshadow his impressive political career. As the political landscape in the United States continues to change, it is likely that Fetterman will continue to be a prominent figure in progressive politics..
