Josh recalled one of the many family traditions: “We got together every year on New Year’s Day,” which was temporarily interrupted by the COVID-19 epidemic. “Every year, the whole family traveled somewhere beautiful. And these family vacations are among my most precious memories.”
A father of two, Josh particularly fondly remembers one of his son’s close relationship with Jimmy Carter; the two went fishing as much as they could. In addition, his son used to perform tricks on a scooter at Jimmy and Rosalynn’s house, which Rosalynn still enjoys to this day.
