Kristen Bell, the Hollywood actress, is known for her parenting style and her willingness to share her experiences with others. She is the mother of two girls, Lincoln and Delta, with her husband, Dax Shepard. Although the couple is quite private about their children’s identities, they don’t shy away from discussing their parenting journey with the public.
In 2007, Bell and Shepard crossed paths, and in 2013, they officially tied the knot. Before exchanging vows, the couple had their first child, Lincoln. A year after their marriage, they welcomed their second daughter, Delta. Although their relationship had its share of challenges, they chose to stay together for the sake of their family.
In a recent interview, Bell spoke about how she handles essential topics with her kids, such as Santa Claus. When her daughter asked if Santa was real, Bell was honest with her, saying that she loved Santa but that he was not a real person.
On her podcast, Momsplaining, Bell shared an experience she had with her two daughters regarding potty training. While her oldest daughter was potty trained at just 21 months, her youngest daughter still wears diapers at the age of five. Bell explained that potty training her youngest daughter was not an easy task.
Bell is known for her unique parenting style, and she believes that every child is different and should be treated accordingly. She has also expressed her views on the importance of giving children the freedom to choose their own paths in life. Although she has chosen a career in the public eye, Bell believes that her children should have the right to decide for themselves whether they want to be in the public eye or not.
Kristen Bell is a dedicated mother who is not afraid to share her parenting experiences with others. She believes in honesty and openness with her children and encourages them to make their own choices in life. Her unique parenting style has helped her navigate the ups and downs of motherhood and has made her a role model for many parents.
During a recent interview, Kristen Bell shared that her youngest daughter, who is now 5 and a half years old, still wears diapers. However, she emphasized that every child is unique and has their own developmental timeline. In the same interview, Bell and her husband, Dax Shepard, revealed that their daughter, Delta, was finally able to ditch the diapers after consistent potty training efforts.
Despite their success, Bell believes that there should be no shame or stigma attached to children who take longer to potty train. She wants parents to understand that it’s entirely normal for each child to have their own pace of development.
Although the topic of older children using diapers can be delicate, it’s essential to acknowledge that each child is one-of-a-kind and that parenting has no one-size-fits-all solution. In my experience, my parents taught me how to use the restroom at an early age, providing me with support throughout the process. However, families have varying tactics when it comes to potty training, and what works for one child may not be effective for another.
Pure laziness, from both the parent and the child. The child will grow up thinking if they don’t want to learn something then they just won’t. Real life isn’t like that, learning is a natural part of growing up. And it’s the parent’s responsibility to make sure they can perform certain tasks pre school, ie toileting and cleaning themselves, dressing and undressing, using a knife and fork, knowing numbers, colours, opposites, a little knowledge of letters etc. Otherwise they are holding other kids up .
If she wants a baby have another, don’t hold this one back!
