Something special was a storyline …
For weeks he felt exhausted, convinced that his daily grind was much harder than his wife.
Every morning he pulled out of bed, dressed to work and headed out while she stayed at home. For him, her life seemed easy – no bosses, no deadlines, no endless meetings. One evening, after a particularly tiring day, he expressed his frustration. “You have no idea what I go every day,” he told his wife. She simply smiled.
Determined to prove his opinion, turned to the only power he thought he could really understand it – prayed:
“Dear Lord, I go to work every day and I’ll give in eight hours while my wife just stays home. I want to know what I’m going through. So, please let her body switch with my for one day.”
And in his endless wisdom, God has given men a wish …
Be careful what you want!
The husband worked hard to understand how hard his everyday life was. So he prayed:
“Dear Lord, I work eight hours a day when my wife stays at home. I want her to experience what I’m going through. Please let’s switch your bodies for one day.”
In his endless wisdom, God complied with the request of man. The following morning he woke up as a woman!
His new routine was nothing but easy. He got up early, cooked breakfast for his husband, woke up children, dressed them, fed them, packed lunch and took them to school.
Then he ran errands – he chose dry cleaning, stopped at the bank, bought food and put everything out. The accounts had to be paid, the checkbook balanced and the pets took care of.
Until 13:00 there was still no rest. He made beds, made linen, vacuumed, dusted, swept and pulled out. After lifting the children, he argued with them on his way home, gave them refreshments and supervised his homework – all in ironing.
At 4:30 he started preparations for dinner, peeled potatoes, washing vegetables, bread pork chops and beans. After dinner he washed the dishes, launched the dishwasher, folded more laundry, bathed children and put them in bed. Completely exhausted at 9:00, he collapsed into bed, just to expect to make love – something that somehow managed to go through.
The following morning, stunned and exhausted, fell to the knees:
“Lord, I was wrong to envy my wife’s life. Please switch us back!”
God replied in his wisdom:
“My son, I see you learned a lesson. I’ll return things to how they were … But you have to wait nine months. You got pregnant last night.”
