Meadow praised film producer Brandon Birtell, whom she described as “my dad’s best friend,” and Fast X director Louis Leterrier for “your kindness, patience, and support” throughout her involvement with the project.

Thank you for your generosity, tolerance, and support, @louisleterrierpro. I’m glad it’s just the beginning because I feel like you’ve been part of the family since the beginning. Special thanks to @bbortell who is now my closest friend because it wouldn’t be possible without you.

Meadow said: “I am so lucky to be able to honor my father’s legacy and share this with him forever x.”

On the ninth anniversary of her father’s death in November, Meadow had previously paid tribute to his memory in public. She posted a vintage black and white photo of herself and Paul bowling on Instagram.

Nine years without you. In her caption at the time, Meadow said: “I love you so much my darling. I love you Daddy,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.

Walker died more than a decade ago, but the next film in the Fast and Furious franchise incorporated nostalgic images of the actor into the trailer as it recapped the events of 2011’s Fast Five.

In the next film, Jason Momoa will play antagonist Dante Rey, the son of Fast Five villain Hernan Reyes, who, according to the film’s synopsis, “has spent the last 12 years hatching a plan to make Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) pay the ultimate price.”

Fast X hits theaters on May 19.

Meadow’s participation in “Fast X” not only marks her association with the franchise but also serves as a tribute to her father’s enduring legacy. With the film hitting theaters on May 19, fans will have a chance to witness Meadow’s cameo and celebrate the continuation of the Fast and Furious saga. It’s a poignant reminder that the “Fast” family goes beyond the screen, uniting both actors and fans in their love and admiration for Paul Walker and his remarkable contribution to the franchise.
