His devastated girlfriend informs him that a truck driver who appeared on a famous reality television program has died in a horrific car accident.
Nathan Schaldach, who plays Cali Nate on Discovery’s Street Outlaws, crashed Saturday night in southwest Texas.
His girlfriend Courtney Paulshock revealed his death in a devastating Facebook message, calling him her “soulmate”.
“I’m not complete.” “I’m in complete shock,” she wrote on Sunday.

Paulshock claims it happened while Schaldach was racing near Eagle Pass, which is approximately two hours west of San Antonio.
Although his friends assisted him on the way to the hospital, they could not save his life.
Paulshock said she was unable to determine what preceded or contributed to the Schaldach crash.
His girlfriend said: “He was so happy to see his mother and sister again.”

Schaldach was a cast member for the fourth season of the television program Street Outlaws: Fastest in America, which followed eight drag racing teams as they battled for a $100,000 prize.

The current show was inspired by the original Street Outlaws, in which crazy street racers risked their lives to participate.
Drag racing is a sport in which two cars race against each other to cross the finish line on a short, straight track.
While professional sports are generally safe, street racing is so dangerous that it is banned in most countries.
In 2022, actor Ryan Fellows lost his life in a car accident while filming Street Outlaws. Subsequently, Schaldach died.
A driver’s car overturned and caught fire at a race in Las Vegas. According to a Discovery representative, the network was devastated by the loss.

“Nate was one of the last true racers who understood and loved the sport. Every race involves risk and we all know that every run could be our last.
In a devastating farewell letter, Paulshock promised Schaldach that he would always love him.
He emailed his sweetheart and said, “Garth told me to tell you I love you so much in case tomorrow never comes.” The last race of the riders was this one.
Paulshock posted a picture of the text exchange with the caption: “Please wake me up from this nightmare.”
