My Mother-in-Law Attempted to Sabotage Our Wedding by Creating Conflict Between Us

Something they felt from the beginning.

As an experienced wedding coordinator, I dealt with my fair share of unusual requests, last-minute changes, and even the occasional runaway groom, but nothing prepared me for what was about to unfold in the days leading up to my wedding I thought I had everything under control—it was well planned with every detail, every contingency considered.

But as the big day approached, an uneasy feeling began to creep in, one I couldn’t quite shake. Was it just pre-wedding violence, or was something more sinister going on? Little did I know, the perfect date I had spent a year planning was going to be released, thanks to a plan that would put even the most bizarre wedding disasters to shame

As a wedding coordinator, Maya is used to unusual weddings. As a result, she believes every aspect of her wedding is planned, even down to the last minute.

Until her fiance goes missing and her father-in-law plans to separate them…

I have planned a crazy number of weddings in my time as a wedding planner. From the craziest requests to the delicate bride and groom district. I once worked with a couple who wanted to exchange vows on a hot air balloon, but the bride realized she was afraid to go up.

I was so confident that Fred and I were ready for my wedding. That everything had finally worked out perfectly. However, I still wanted my colleague Jenna to handle wedding details. I wanted to experience my honeymoon.

Aside from making sure the bridal party featured sliders, Fred left everything up to me because he realized I was in my element when it came to our wedding.

We met Jenna at a restaurant about a year before the wedding, and I gave her all the information she needed in a format.

He would have an easy time of it; All he had to do was tackle the planning task. And to know the mind.

He gulped and whispered to Maya. “This is the best. Everything you fixed.”

I sipped my glass and said, “I just don’t want to get into it with the planning part of it.”

Fred said with a smile, “It would be so much better if you were with me.” “Show me the friendly magic tricks in my pocket.”

Nothing was wrong.

Everything went smoothly, every last detail was well thought out and prepared for what was to be the most memorable day of our lives.

Three nights of chaos preceded the wedding.

I was eating a slice of pie and watching reality television which was about 8 pm.

The next morning, I got my nails done, and I finally felt like a bride.

Fred and I have been fighting over anything and everything for the past few weeks.

We argued pointlessly before bed.

Fred stayed with his best man this week at least.

“Just magic to get him out of his hair for a while,” she said.

I assured him that you would hear no complaints from me. “Just keep him out of trouble.”

I knew that my soon-to-be mother-in-law, Marlene, was the main source of the issue. She worked as an actress. He always put on a show to prove that I was the best thing for Fred to do and he loved me in front of everyone.

Little did she know, though, that months before Fred married me, I had heard their gossip.

“Maya is not your husband, Fred. You don’t need women like this. One evening at dinner at her house, Marlene said angrily, “You need the opposite.”

Fred said softly, “Mom, Maya is the only person I want to marry.”

“Fred, you’ll regret it. Just wait,” Marlene said menacingly.

But I sat there watching TV and slammed my phone to write to Fred.

I started to get nervous because I hadn’t spoken to him most of the day.

The sound of the doorbell startled me out of my reverie.

When I opened the door, I thought to myself that it must be him.

However, it is not.

On the opposite side stood a flower delivery man with a large bouquet.

I said, “That’s beautiful.” “Why is that?”

“Ma’am, there’s the card,” the deliveryman said.

She handed him a bunch and turned to head up the stairs.

“Oh, Fred,” I replied, taking in the scent of the rose.

One thing he would do for me was send unexpected flowers.

However, as soon as I opened the form, my heart fell out of my chest.

Their card said I Don’t.

Suddenly, all the breath in my lungs disappeared. I sat on the bed and cried uncontrollably.

I must have contacted Fred twenty or more times in a matter of hours. He didn’t answer the phone.

I gave Jenna a call. I needed an unbiased third party to see the problem from a different perspective. Anyone not wanting to help Freds or me was exactly what I needed. I needed an objective source to tell me the whole truth.

When Jenna walked into my room, I started to lose it. It was the worst-case scenario in my opinion. If Fred was alone in the hospital room he was injured.

I shouted “Thank you” as I opened the door.

“I think we should go to the emergency room and find Fred there.”

Jenna gave me a long stare. I could tell he was confused about what had happened.

“Good,” he replied. “I’ll drive.

When we arrived at the emergency room, no one fit the description of my fiancé.

Jenna led me to the car and said, “Let me take you home.”

I told him all about the flowers and the message on the card as we drove.

When we got home, I told Jenna to leave. As long as the program went on, I didn’t know what to do next.

When I called Marlene, she didn’t answer either.

Fred called me back in the morning, waking me up with his call.

That evening, he seemed to go out for one last drink with friends.

Fred seemed genuinely shocked, completely stoned, and barely able to speak.

“Flowers? He stumbles over the phone, “What flowers?

When it became clear that Fred had nothing to do with the threatened flower arrangement, the story escalated.

Finally, he admitted that he had fallen asleep and would stay at a friend’s house until the next morning.

The person hiding behind the flowers could be Marlene.

Maybe she couldn’t grasp the fact that the wedding was happening, and it was getting that close now.

I asked Marlene to go to my room the next morning.

I said “This is important” on the phone. “There’s a Fred thing. I’m worried.”

I knew it was the only way to reach him.

“Do you want me to marry Fred or not?” As soon as he entered the room, I interviewed him.

“No, I do,” Marlene replied, sipping her coffee with a helping hand. You two are just too young. Fred went out drinking last night, as you can see. Since they were all together, his brother told me. Is the man ready to get married?”

Though I was worried, I had to give it to Marlene. It’s not about Fred’s love for me.

Never do that. I just wanted to know, is she ready to get married?

“I don’t know if you’re a good fit,” he said.

“If I imagine Fred getting married, it’s a traditional partner. Someone who wants to live peacefully with him. Maya, you plan weddings. Planning parties is what you do for a living.”

“You know it’s not fair,” I replied.

“Did you send flowers?”

Marlene nodded her head.

“I said the same thing I said with Fred. That marriage is all you want and you’re not in good faith.”

Maya, I’m sorry,” he said icily. “I just needed to plant doubt.” I needed more time from you two.”

I talked to Marlene for hours. Gradually, we overcame our differences.

But it is enough that he will approve of my marriage to Fred this coming Sunday.

“But I’ll meet Fred now,” said Marlene. And beloved I will open my eyes to him. A man should not be drunk and unconscious within a few days of marriage.”

No one could have predicted the chaos we faced in the days leading up to the wedding when Fred and I exchanged our wedding morning vows.

There were tears, and laughter, and lots of rewards. Guests had a great time at the wedding; They danced the night away and ate delicious food.

Later, when Fred and I left for our honeymoon, Marlene cried when she realized that she had finally accepted me as her daughter.

At least that was my hope.

In the end, everything went according to plan. And even though everything went well, I am glad we had a happy time because Marlene had to be accepted before we got married.

I needed to know that he cared about her. Even though sending her flowers risked everything.

But, at least my marriage is over now. All I have to worry about is the guests getting married.
