According to WMUR, Lt. Jason Short of the Keene Police Department received a 911 call on July 23 about a young man who was left alone in a car in a nearby Walmart parking lot. Lt. Short rushed to the scene of the accident in spite of the sweltering heat. He immediately decided to go inside after noticing what appeared to be legs sticking out from behind the blanket in the vehicle.
A surprising finding
Lt. Short decided to break the car window to get to the alleged youth after he became convinced he was facing a life-and-death emergency. He was shocked to discover a doll that mysteriously resembled a newborn baby. He initially believed the doll to be a dead child and attempted to revive it. He didn’t realize the doll was actually a convincing replica until he tried to blow air into her mouth, at which point he decided to cancel the 911 call.
The doll’s owner, Carolynne Seiffert, was at Super Cuts getting her hair cut and was therefore not present when the incident occurred. She was informed of the problem and told Lt. Short that the Ainslie doll was specially made to look like a newborn baby down to the smallest detail. Seiffert said holding the doll was incredibly lifelike.
Expensive interest
According to the Sentinel Source, Seiffert paid a whopping $2,300 for a lifelike Ainslie doll at a doll nursery a week before the event. Dubbed a “reborn doll”, this item has been carefully crafted using silicone to give it an exceptionally lifelike appearance. Seiffert is known for having a large collection of these dolls.
