Biles wore a $120 wedding dress and $35 heels that she bought at the sale
After marrying NFL player Jonathan Owens in a small ceremony with only a judge officiating, Simon Biles is now Mrs. Owens. The happy couple shared wedding pictures with their followers on social media.
American gymnast Biles is famous and has seven Olympic medals to her credit. In contrast, although Owens describes himself on Instagram simply as a “kid from St. Louis”, it is obvious that he has a successful profession.

To pursue a football career, Owens attended Christian Brothers College High School before transferring to Missouri Western State University.
During his senior year, he was voted student-athlete of the year. Signed as a free agent in the 2018 NFL Draft after graduation.
Owens signed with the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent following the 2018 NFL Draft. He never made his rookie debut after injuring his knee in preseason practice.
Owens is currently a safety for the Houston Texans. Biles constantly supported him during his NFL matches and was his biggest admirer.
The two connected through a dating app in 2020, and Biles initiated contact. During the outbreak, they became more familiar with each other, which strengthened their relationship.
In February 2022, the couple became engaged, and Biles claimed that accepting Owens’ marriage proposal was the easiest “yes” she had ever said. They spent almost a year planning their intimate wedding.
When the Owens decided to have a low-key wedding with only a judge in attendance, many people were shocked. The couple claimed they intended to have a larger destination wedding and wanted to get hitched in America first.

Ever since she posted a photo of her wedding dress, merchandise seems to be flying off the shelves. Her simple yet elegant style was admired by admirers who longed to copy it.
The bride claimed that she bought everything, including the dress, shoes, wedding rings, and bouquet, a week before the ceremony. She claimed she spent more time organizing their destination wedding than their civil ceremony.

After exchanging vows, the adorable couple took part in a small photo shoot at various locations. They took pictures after the wedding on the roof of the building and in an elaborate elevator.
Along with her simple outfit, the Olympian received criticism online for her hair. In now-deleted tweets, they said it was “unsustainable” and that she “should have put down the edges” and “could have at least laced up the front”.
Her comments sparked a debate between those who criticized her and those who supported her. The bullies who criticized Biles’ wedding hairstyle were eventually confronted.

Biles spent months organizing her wedding, unlike her $120 dress. Israeli designer Galia Lahav made two dresses for her. As if that wasn’t enough, the gymnast said she’ll be wearing four different dresses to her destination wedding.
It wasn’t easy for Biles to grow up under intense pressure to become one of the top gymnasts in the country. Biles was born on March 14, 1997, in Ohio to a drug-addicted mother and father who abandoned the family when she was a young child.
For most of her early years, Biles and her three siblings often went without adequate care and nutrition. They often went without food because her mother preferred to feed the stray cat that lived in their house.
Neighbors of Biles’ biological mother informed social services of a disturbing situation because she was unable to care for her children. Social workers recommended placing the Biles siblings in foster care.

She once remarked that she didn’t remember much from foster care. Biles’ only concern was being separated from her brothers.
At first, they shared a home. She checked on her older brother in his room, fearing that he might have been kidnapped and disappeared in broad daylight.
Unfortunately, Biles had to live apart from her older siblings. When they were six years old, Biles and her sister Adria moved to Texas after their grandparents Nellie and Ron Biles decided to adopt them. Nellie and Ron are referred to as “Mom and Dad” by Biles.
The Biles’ two older siblings, Ashley and Tevin, were adopted by their great-aunt in Ohio. Having experienced so much as a child, Biles was determined to rise above her situation.

She started gymnastics and gave up a lot to become a professional athlete. At 14, she left public school and opted to be home-schooled to focus on her athletics.
Biles has been an outstanding gymnast since she began competing. While she felt like a typical Everyone could see the little girl’s talent and expertise as she participated in the sport she loved.
Biles also skipped the conventional adolescent milestones of graduation and school activities. On the other hand, her love for gymnastics kept her going.
Biles cemented her place on the international stage when she won four gold medals at the 2016 Rio Olympics. She also took bronze on the balance beam.
But Russian hackers claimed soon after the Olympics that Biles was taking prescription drugs that were on WADA’s banned substance list. She immediately defended herself by saying that she had been taking medication for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) since she was a child.
Two years later, Biles was identified as one of several survivors who were harmed by USA Gymnastics team doctor Larry Nassar. Nassar has been accused of sexually abusing more than 330 women and girls.
Biles found it difficult to admit what Nassar had done to her. She refused and got upset whenever her mother Nellie asked her about it.
But one day, while she was driving, Biles realized the abuse and sobbed. Her mother realized why she had sobbed excessively on the phone with Nellie.
Biles eventually accepted her illness and went public with it. People rallied behind her after she shared a lengthy statement on social media about her personal experience with Nassar’s assault to seek justice for herself and hundreds of other American gymnasts.
She came forward in an interview to accuse USA Gymnastics of allowing Nassar to torture hundreds of young women. She remarked, “You only had one job and you couldn’t protect us.”
Despite her stellar record, she had to quit gymnastics due to the stress it caused on her mental health. She wanted to win five gold medals at the Tokyo Olympics and become the first American to do so but fell short.
Biles accidentally left the mat twice on the opening day of the competition, which was unusual for the able-bodied athlete. She had a rough start but made it to the finals.
Biles claimed that because her parents weren’t around to cheer her on, she didn’t feel like herself at the Games. They had consistently attended all of her most important competitions, so she was nervous about not seeing them there.
At the start of the team final, Biles opted not to execute her planned amanar vault in favor of a more manageable one in the air, despite having trouble landing it. After the game, Biles announced that she would not compete in the team final due to health issues.
