Epstein Files Resurface Amid Trump’s Sharp Accusations and Defense of Attorney General Bondi
Just when the Jeffrey Epstein saga seemed to be fading from public attention, a new controversy has erupted. President Donald Trump has accused some of the nation’s top political figures of orchestrating the release of the Epstein files—documents he claims were never meant for public eyes.
At the same time, Trump has publicly defended Attorney General Pam Bondi, sparking a fierce debate about law enforcement priorities, political transparency, and the focus of justice in America.
On Saturday, Trump took to Truth Social to express his strong support for Bondi, who faced criticism from some within his own circle over how the Department of Justice is handling the Epstein-related documents. Calling Bondi “fantastic,” Trump urged his supporters to unite instead of attacking her.
Referring to Epstein as “the guy who never dies,” Trump questioned why documents supposedly linked to former Presidents Obama and Biden, Hillary Clinton, and other high-profile officials were released publicly at all.
“They created the Epstein Files, just like they fabricated the so-called Hillary Clinton/Christopher Steele dossier to target me,” Trump claimed. “And now, some of my ‘friends’ are falling right into their trap. If there was anything damaging to the MAGA movement in those files, why wasn’t it released by the Radical Left?”
Trump also criticized the FBI for what he perceives as misplaced focus, arguing that investigations should concentrate on voter fraud, political corruption, ActBlue, and alleged election interference, rather than continuously revisiting Epstein’s files.
“LET PAM BONDI DO HER JOB — SHE’S GREAT! The 2020 Election was rigged and stolen, and they tried to pull the same stunt in 2024,” Trump wrote. “She is investigating that, and so much more. Our country is thriving again, so why waste time on Jeffrey Epstein—someone nobody really cares about?”
Conclusion:
The renewed attention on the Epstein files has once again ignited partisan tensions, with Trump defending Bondi and leveling serious accusations against key Democratic figures. Beyond the political sparring, the controversy shines a light on how deeply entwined politics, media narratives, and public scrutiny have become—raising important questions about priorities, accountability, and the long-lasting impact of high-profile investigations on American society.
