“And it would always be one of two songs: either ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’ by Sinead O’Connor or ‘Greatest Love of All’ by Whitney Houston. So I asked Brandi Carlile if she would join me and sing that song in honor of Sinead and my truly wonderful friend.
Pink stated, “You never know what people are going through.” Smiling at people is not that hard; we’re all learning together at the moment.”
Her death was announced by her family on Wednesday. “It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Sinead. No specific cause of death was given.
