James Scott on his podcast called “At Home”. The couple couldn’t contain their happiness as they shared the news with their devoted fans.
After years of failed attempts, becoming a parent is a thrill unlike any other. After years of disappointment, Drew Scott and his wife Linda Phan are overjoyed to have their first child.
Andrew Alfred Scott, sometimes known as Drew Scott, is known as a Canadian reality television celebrity. As the name suggests, he stars in the show “Property Brothers” with his brother Jonathan Scott.
He plays a real estate agent in a house remodeling program while his brother plays a contractor.
Drew often recalls his wife’s first impressions of her. He claims that the moment he laid eyes on Linda Phan and watched her devour a large slice of pizza, he knew it was her.

Drew recalls his first conversation with his future wife. “I came to her [Phan] with my best picker and said, ‘Where can I find water?'” he recalled of the encounter.
Soon after, he brought Phan to meet their closest high school friend Pedro and twin brother and teammate Jonathon. After being instantly impressed, Jonathan tells Drew that his girlfriend was a good catch.
When Phan and Drew first met, she recalled, “My sister and I were backstage looking for pizza and getting water, and Drew came up to me and said, ‘Hey, where did you get that water?’
The couple ended up going on what they describe as the longest first date in history, a few months after they first met. The trip included a karaoke party that Drew wasn’t even invited to in the first place, hot chocolate at a coffee shop, and dinner at a sushi restaurant.
Drew sang beautifully during the event and the duo performed several duets late into the night.
Drew was unaware of his love side before meeting Phan. He also referred to himself as “still a single person focused on his work and passions”.

But after meeting his wife, everything changed as she sparked his love side. I wasn’t ready for Linda to walk into my life, but she did unexpectedly and caught me off, guard. Linda also taught me what love is, I have to admit. In his words, “Linda brought out a side of me that I didn’t even know was there.
Finally, in December 2016, he proposed to Linda and asked her to marry him. He later admitted that he hid the ring for weeks out of fear that Linda might inadvertently find it.
The ring was his original creation. The 1.2-carat round brilliant cut solitaire ring was designed especially for his fiancée and set in a swirl-like setting.

He added of the ring: “Linda doesn’t wear rings much, and when she does, it’s usually a tiny, basic, sophisticated look because she’s so small. I attached a four-prong spiral solitaire to the 14k white gold ring because I wanted to create a ring with some by taste.
Drew flew to New York to record “Marry Me,” a well-known song for the band Train’s proposal. While he and Phan ate dinner, he played it. He later planned a surprise engagement party.
Phan oversees several projects for their media company while also working as creative director for Scott Brothers Entertainment, which is also part of the family business.
The couple said they had already exchanged vows privately in Nashville, Tenn., although they were planning a lavish wedding there. They reminisce about a funny private wedding and a joke the magistrate pulled there and they got married in a hot tub. Plus, they traded hamburgers rather than rings!
After they were legally married, the couple eagerly awaited the next stage of their lives – having children. Even more, Drew stated, “We are looking forward to having children. I know Linda and I will be great parents and we can’t wait to start this phase of our lives.”

The couple even set aside part of their home in Los Angeles for their future offspring. However, they only realized after two years of trying that something was wrong. To find a solution, they sought medical help.
During their testing, Phan’s thyroid problem was discovered, complicating conception. She began receiving treatment for her illness, and the pair sought out other couples dealing with similar issues. They also mentioned that they might be willing to adopt the child if the pregnancy didn’t manifest itself.
But in August 2021, the couple received news that changed their lives. They found out they had a baby. The delighted father shared a picture of his wife’s growing baby bump along with the announcement on social media.

The excited parents-to-be thanked everyone, especially the doctors who helped them along the way. “Getting here has been an adventure,” Drew said in the post. We know that we are not alone on this journey and that each person has different difficulties on this journey.
The couple expressed their joy with their followers on their podcast “At Home” on May 4, 2022, when they announced the birth of their son. They revealed that they named their son Parker James Scott.

The newborn, who weighed 8 pounds, 1.8 ounces, was born on the parents’ fourth wedding anniversary. The couple is incredibly happy.
Drew said on his show that now that he has a son, he tries to make his family a higher priority. I believe there are components of parenting that seem to change who you are, he added. I still enjoy what I do and I enjoy supporting other families, but Parker always takes up a significant amount of my time.
We are so happy for Drew and Linda that they are now parents and their son has entered the world.
