He hunched over and wasn’t breathing 😩 I am so proud of how my wife and I didn’t panic, didn’t hesitate and eventually dislodged the food which was blocking airway and saved his life. I love my family with all my heart and am so grateful things worked out 🙏🏼 it’s safe to say we are now taking CPR lessons and Romeo won’t be having gnocchi anytime soon.

Mike and Lauren had the “scariest moment of our lives” at a family dinner last night when their son Romeo choked on his favorite food from the past. The family ring cam captured the occasion.
“It was just a typical Situation dinner when, without warning, Romeo choked on his beloved pesto gnocchi pasta! Mike described it on TikTok, saying, ‘He was hunched over and not breathing.’
“My wife and I are really proud of how we kept our composure and finally managed to remove the food that was blocking his airway and save his life. I’m incredibly grateful that everything worked out because I love my family so much. “

After removing the food from her son’s throat and explaining the problem, Lauren was seen in the video soothing him. Romeo ruefully admitted that he didn’t want to eat anymore after their parents tried to force their son after the terrifying experience.
Although Mike and Lauren were eventually able to safely remove their son from the life-or-death situation, the reality star admitted they should have been even more prepared. “It’s safe to say we are now taking CPR classes and Romeo will be out of gnocchi anytime soon,” Mike wrote.
