On June 2, 2023, everything changed. Kate was diagnosed with osteosarcoma — a rare, aggressive form of bone cancer. At just 19 years old, she faced a diagnosis that would challenge even the strongest among us.

Even as treatments took a toll on her body, she showed up — for her team, her classes, her family, and her friends. She danced when she could. She studied when it hurt. She smiled even on the hardest days.
