As the holidays are approaching, millions of people around the world are preparing to celebrate Christmas with festive encouragement, gifts and tasty meals.
December 25 means reflection and joy for many time, because it has long been considered the birthday of Jesus Christ. But what if the date we have celebrated for centuries is bad?
What if everything we thought we knew about the birth of Jesus was based on a misunderstanding?
Scientists and historians have now raised some points to increase eyebrows that question the long faith of Jesus’ date of birth, suggesting that Jesus was not born at all December 25th.
Scientists have determined the actual date of birth of Jesus and it is not what you could expect.
In fact, scientists suggest that Jesus could be older than many believed. The assumption that Jesus was born on December 25 has no solid foundation. But what do evidence say?
The Bible mentions that King Herod ordered the death of all male children under the age of two. This suggests that Jesus had to be born at least 24 months before Herod’s death.
Experts proposed several possible data for Herod’s death: December 29, 1 Bc; 10th January 1 Bc; March 13, 4 BC; and September 15, 5 BC.
Professor Mychekuk further notes that Jewish historian Josephus records that the Jewish Passover occurred shortly after Herod’s death, and because Passover is in the spring, data can be excluded as September, January and December.
In addition, the professor points out that the Bible mentions the shepherds “living in the fields and watched his flocks at night” when Jesus was born. This suggests that birth did not occur in winter, because the shepherds usually kept their flocks in protected areas during cold weather to protect them from hard conditions.
Based on these facts, it is very unlikely that Jesus was born on December 25th. It seems that the most credible period for his birth is in March, during the 6th, 5th or 4 lap, shortly before the lunar eclipse, which occurred near the death of King Herod.
In conclusion, while December 25 has long been celebrated as the date of birth of Jesus Christ, scientific and historical evidence suggests that this is probably not the case. Experts point to irregularities in the biblical timeline, including the timing of the death of King Herod and the conditions described in the story of birth, claims that Jesus was probably born at another time, probably in March, March, during the 6th, 5th or 4th BC.
These findings question traditional beliefs and offer a new view of the origin of one of the most important events in history.
