On November 30th, at the age of 77, Stewart shared the somber news via his Instagram account, announcing that Bob had peacefully departed the previous evening.
The vocalist known for “The Young Turks” went on to express his heartfelt wish that Bob and Don, who had left this world only two months earlier, were enjoying a spirited game of football together in the realm beyond. In an emotionally charged statement, Stewart lamented that these two losses had left him without his dearest companions. Following the passing of his elder brother Don in September, Rod had shared a poignant image on a dark background adorned with a crown. Don had departed at the age of 94.

In January 2019, Rod Stewart attended a celebration in honor of his sister Mary Cady’s 90th birthday. During the gathering, he paid tribute to both Mary and the now-departed Don, acknowledging their invaluable support on his journey to success.
