Levi Wright, the young son of rodeo star Spencer Wright, has died tragically.
On May 21, a three-year-old boy died of a catastrophic brain injury sustained in a near-drowning episode.
Levi fell into the river while operating the tractor. After being taken to a hospital in Salt Lake City, he was admitted. Local police found Levi unconscious about a mile downstream.
Although initially considered brain-dead and not expected to live, Levi continued to show signs of recovery.
“LEVI IS UP! We don’t know much so I’m shaken but the doctor said I can be happy and I am!”.
Unfortunately, the results of the MRI the next day “were not good”.
“Even though we’re broken, the pictures only convey a particular standard of living. What Levi does in the next few days will be our true teller of everything,” Kallie said.
While friends and family prayed for his recovery, his fight continued.
Unfortunately, the family had to make a very difficult choice.
“After several sleepless nights, lots of research, numerous conversations with the world’s best neurologists, and millions of prayers, we are here face to face with our greatest fear,” she said. “Levi gave us just enough to give us some time to deal with everything. We prayed that he would defy the odds and show us that he wanted to stay, but now we realize he wanted to give us some time to deal with it. ” .” let him go.”
The family decided to take Levi off life support after several scans tests and discussions with medical staff.
Family friend Mindy Sue Clark confirmed the news of Levi’s untimely death.
“The last two weeks have been extremely difficult; I’m at a loss for words. From the time my phone rang the night of his accident until I got the notification last night that he had to go. Even though I feel like someone is tearing him apart.” and pressed his heart before me, I don’t want to dwell on the negative or the depressing, I wish to draw attention to the numerous miracles we all witnessed during those twelve days.
“The most perfect three-year-old boy in the world. He was so perfect we couldn’t keep him.”
Over the past 12 days, this little boy has made tremendous progress. He united so many individuals.
Through the actions of a child, we were able to find light in a very dark world. That’s all his parents could hope for.
