Roseanne Barr is set to return to our screens with another comedy special.

If you’re a comedy fan, you’re probably familiar with the name Roseanne Barr. Widely recognized as one of the hardest-working comedians of his generation, he boasted a highly successful career until he faced a major setback.

In 1988, Rosen Barr’s popular show “Rosen” debuted, quickly capturing the hearts of hundreds of thousands of viewers. Though the show eventually ended, audiences were disappointed with it returning in the 2000s. The “Roseanne” revival stands out as one of the winning comebacks in recent television history, receiving impressive ratings and holding the promise of even greater success.

But in 2018, Rosen’s career suddenly changed because of a single tweet. The tweet sparked widespread backlash, not just for her reboot of the show, but also for her decades-long career. Rosen, who is known for his outspokenness, made non-racist remarks about former President Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett that he has since deleted.

When interviewed by ABC, the network responsible for airing the show’s reboot, Rosen offered no special explanation for what prompted the tweet. He admitted he had taken Ambien before sending the tweet but it was clear it wasn’t an excuse for his actions. In her documentary titled “Roseanne: Kicked out of Hollywood,” she reveals that she had requested the opportunity to appear on “The View” the next day to apologize for her tweets and was unfortunately denied this opportunity never fixing things on television.
