Starting from the main episode of BBC’s “Stringently Come Moving” in 2004, Goodman was the head judge on the English variant of “Hitting the dance floor with The Stars.” The keep going episode circulated on Christmas Day 2016. Shirley Hotshot filled in for him when he was no more.
Tim Davie, the chief general of the BBC, drove the recognitions. He said that Goodman was a “superb, warm performer who was cherished by millions.”

Goodman ran a dance school in Kent called the Goodman Dance Foundation when he wasn’t on television. The book about his life, “Slow on the uptake, but still good enough: From Pushcart Kid to Dance hall,” turned out in 2009. “Lost London” and “Moving Around England” were two additional books he composed.
