The Truth About Sasha Obama: Her Life Outside the White House
Barack Obama’s presidency from 2009 to 2017 marked an important chapter in American history. While he and his family left the White House years ago, their lives continue to be in the public eye, especially their two daughters, Sasha and Malia. The young women have grown up in the spotlight and were recently spotted together at Drake’s after-party following his sold-out show with 21 Savage, highlighting their close sisterly bond.
According to recent reports, Sasha, 22, has moved from Washington, DC to the glitzy hills of Los Angeles as she pursues her new job.
Sasha completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Southern California (USC) this past May, and the sisters have since set up residence in Brentwood, a neighborhood near USC.
Whenever they have the opportunity, they always emphasize how proud their daughters are of them as parents.
The former president revealed on The Late Late Show with James Corden that he was worried his daughters would be “weird kids” when they grew up in the White House. However, this did not happen and his children became “fantastic young women”.
The same can be said about Michelle’s daughters. She previously said she and her husband intended to create “authentic people” who could find their way out of the White House.
During the interview, Michelle joked about Sasha and Malia’s ability to mix drinks. “They didn’t just drink it, they did it. Now that was a poor martini. It was pretty weak in a shaken glass,” the former first lady claimed.
“You realize they made mistakes. It was mostly vermouth and ice. Well, I don’t think they even realized vermouth was in the martini, so maybe it wasn’t even vermouth,” she continued.
Hiking, partying, and many other activities are things that Sasha and Malia like to do together.
As Sasha Obama takes her next steps in Los Angeles, she continues to shape her identity and forge her own path. Her journey to the White House is a testament to her resilience and determination to lead a fulfilling life away from the political spotlight that has defined much of her family’s existence.
