Simone Biles’ Parents, Who Removed Her from Foster Care, Disapprove of Her Houston Residence Dubbed ‘LA House’

Simone Biles’ narrative is one that transcends the realm of athletics. Her journey, peppered with moments of triumph and resilience, serves as an inspiration far beyond the gymnastics arena. Renowned for her incredible athleticism, Biles stunned the world in 2020 when she bravely stepped away from the Tokyo Games, spotlighting the critical importance of mental health in the often high-stakes world of competitive sports.

Her journey to success is laced with challenges, tracing back to a difficult childhood that saw her navigate the foster care system. Despite these adversities, Biles emerged as a shining star in the world of gymnastics, clinching numerous accolades and capturing the hearts of millions.

Given that mental health is equally as important as physical health, many people praised her decision as courageous. The competitor claimed that she experienced “twisties” during the Games, which is dangerous for any athlete because it meant she lost feeling in her body when it moves in the air.

Biles has since put her own needs and mental wellness first. She put her entire attention into her personal life, eventually marrying the love of her life.

Prior to becoming a professional athlete, Simone Biles and her siblings went through a “hungry” childhood in which their mother gave the family cat more food than her kids.

“Growing up, me and my siblings were so focused on food because we didn’t have a lot of food,” she recalled. Biles still despises cats as a result of her early cat experiences.

She received a flyer to sign up for the program when they went to a nearby gymnasium.

Nellie, her mother, registered her for the classes without giving it any thought. Biles was a natural, but she took some time to realize her potential. She had no idea that everyone else in the vicinity knew.

Like any other young person enamored with a sport, the gymnast felt. She didn’t think she was particularly good, but all the experts who observed her knew she was a talented young child.

Biles married NFL player Jonathan Owens in two different ceremonies in April and May of 2023. She admittedly only planned their civil wedding for the week it took place, but it was a straightforward affair in the US.

To have a more lavish destination wedding, the Owens flew to Cabo, San Lucas, in May with their closest loved ones. This wedding was more meticulously planned by the couple, and Biles wore multiple dresses for the occasion.

Following the nuptials, Biles and her spouse settled into their stunning Houston residence. She chose a more contemporary, minimalist design for her house rather than a traditional American one.

The pad is referred to as “an LA house, but in Houston,” which her parents, Nellie and Ron, find offensive. They would tell their daughter every time they were there that it wasn’t the kind of house they would pick, and the gymnast would rightly reply, “But it’s not your house, it’s mine.”

In 2019, Biles paid $2 million for the property and showed glimpses of it to her followers on social media. Her house has a modest black-and-white interior, a spacious and cozy living room, a modest-sized kitchen, a gorgeous L-shaped pool, and a backyard table set with swings for chairs.

In addition to the images she has shared on Instagram, Biles has welcomed house visits. Her fans enthusiastically watched the videos she allowed her guests to film inside her house on YouTube.

Even though she had a stunning house, she and her spouse made it known a few weeks prior to the wedding that they were moving to a new place. They revealed this by sharing pictures of themselves standing on the plot of land they intended to build their home on to Instagram.

“Love and dreams create a home.In the caption for her photo, Biles wrote, “Cheers to breaking ground.” There was a lake visible behind the large, tree-lined plot of land.

The new home’s construction started in January and is still going strong today. The stars have not yet disclosed the intended completion date, so it is unknown when it will be reached.

The charming pair is still residing in Biles’ Houston home for the time being. The famous gymnast frequently posts stunning photos of the property to Instagram, where she frequently spends time by her swimming pool.

Biles and Owens both reside in Houston.

Originally from Ohio, the gymnast grew up in the city. In 2019, Owens signed a contract to play for the Houston Texans, and he has remained with the same team ever since.

Because Nellie and Ron Biles care so much about their daughter’s gymnastics career, they constructed the World Champions Centre, a gym, in 2014. Since the coach lacked a permanent gym in the town, the gym was built so Biles could train with him full-time.
