Sissy Spacek is an established personality who first pursued a singing career in Hollywood before transitioning to acting. She has received numerous lead actress nominations due to her reputation for bringing realism to every role she plays.

The couple married in 1974 after two years of dating and working for the same agency. After working together on the film, they went on to work together on a number of other projects, one of which was the 1981 film “Raggedy Man”, directed by Fisk. In an October 1983 interview, Špaček claimed that to concentrate on their work as professionals on set, both had to leave their household duties at home.
Aside from a strong work ethic, Špaček claimed the couple never thought they would have a happy marriage. She went on to say that they doubted it at first and feared that they would break up as a result. Because of this, they decided to be proactive and opened a joint bank account with $30, which was the legal minimum to obtain a divorce at the time.
Fisk and Spaček have been married for fifty years, proving beyond doubt that their love can last, and Spaček now believes that the only thing that will ever separate them is death.
