Sylvester Stallone opts to care for his autistic son at home instead of placing him in a specialized facility

After hearing the news, Sylvester swore even more at his three-year-old. At the time, the “Rocky” star was married to Sasha Czack, with whom he had two children, Seargeoh and Sage.

Parents sought help as soon as they felt something was wrong with their youngest child’s communication skills, before learning he had autism.

Seargeoh had a unique personality. Soon he was able to repeat some language, draw and write letters. His parents, therefore, called him their “quiet genius”.
They did not know that their child had a medical problem. Five out of every 10,000 children have autism, which impairs their ability to communicate and socialize. Many sufferers develop angry and self-destructive behavior. Seargeoh was fortunate to learn from his father that he was not a violent person. Importantly, there is no known treatment or cure for his disease.

Sylvester and Czack “both broke down” when they learned of their son’s condition. Seargeoh was supposed to be placed in a facility, but they themselves rejected and raised Seargeoh.
However, the director had a busy workload and was absent most of the time, so Czack carried the entire load.

Born in 1979 to Czack and Sylvester, Seargeoh continued his parents’ acting career. However, his career was short-lived as he only starred with his father in the movie “Rocky II.”

In February 1985, Seargeo’s parents divorced after eleven years of marriage. At the time, he was struggling with issues related to autism.
Sylvester and Czack met their son’s post-divorce needs by having him attend counseling while he was homeschooled. By age eleven, Seargeoh’s speech and mobility had improved.

His father was honest that work made him miss important times with him when he was young. Sylvester admitted that he wasn’t as in tune with Seargeoh as he should have been. Instead, he pretended to be someone he was playing with and advised him to be careful before approaching him.

The New Yorker participated in all his child’s activities and they played puzzles together. Seargeoh tried to “use what he learned”, despite having an amazing memory according to his devoted father. The acclaimed actor kept his little one occupied when he visited him in the city.

Sylvester and his ex-wife worked feverishly to find a solution for their child while he was out of the limelight. In the interests of the National Association for Children and Adults with Autism, the couple established a research foundation.

Sasha commands the bloody conflict on the front lines. Sylvester previously said he used his movie premieres to raise money for the organization.
At the height of his father’s professional career, Seargeoh was diagnosed. Sylvester contributed $1 million to the cause in the 1980s through a telethon, two movie premieres, and individual contributions.

In “The Expendables,” the actor said that in order to succeed, one had to go into it head-on with a positive mindset. He and Jennifer Flavin, his third wife, also have daughters named Sistine, Sophia, and Scarlet.
Despite his lack of wealth, intelligence, or talent, Sylvester noted that he was successful because he broke down barriers whenever he could.
