Many of us know what it’s like to have unfulfilled dreams. Perhaps we thought a certain situation would develop in a certain way, or the belief that we would work in a different industry than we do today. Sometimes we focus on a particular romance that just didn’t work out for one reason or another.
The fact that things don’t always go the way we want and hope is an unfortunately important part of life, a South Australian teenager learned recently after taking the bold venture to open her own cafe, and his heart is broken when not a single customer showed him up… According to reports Tom Oswald South-. The Australian is an 18-year-old whose ambition was to veer away from more traditional paths straight out of high school.
Considering he had completed his education by then, Oswald instead chose to gamble by opening a small cafe in Handorf, south-east of Adelaide By all accounts, the teenager poured a lot of blood, sweat, tears, and money into the project, creating a nice little place eager to welcome visitors
However, Tom was reportedly sad when he opened the store… and didn’t see a single customer. He’s since taken to TikTok to share this heartbreaking experience in a video that’s gone viral Tom’s eye-watering confession garnered more than 200,000 views, while Tom himself quickly gained more online fans to give him support.
“This makes me so sad tell me where it is so please I can come,” said one user. “I just came to support this guy’s cafe and watched the planes,” added another. “We have a group coming to Hahndorf in a couple of weeks – we’ll be in for coffee!” said the third.
Tom shared how he worked at another cafe for two years to gain the experience he needed for his move. He acknowledged that there is still room for improvement where his coffee is expertise, but insisted that he will continue to strive for improvement. “I’m 18, straight out of high school, I’m currently in my gap year and this project is the only thing I’m ever really working on,” the 18-year-old told News Corp. “I’m a business or office, improving the business as much as I can find ways to do it.”
