According to WalesOnline, police have now identified the body as that of 19-year-old Tom Moreton.

Gwent Police gave a tragic update and said: “The body of a man was found in the River Usk in Newport at around 6.15 pm on Sunday 25th June. Tom Moreton, 19, from Cwmbran, who was reported to us as missing on Sunday 25th June has been officially identified as a man. A report will be prepared for the coroner, who says the death is not being treated as suspicious, according to police.
