Louise, Texas resident Brooke Ochoa wrote on Facebook that she went to a restaurant for lunch and opened the door to another woman.
Since they were both alone, Brooke asked if he could join her for dinner. And so they ate while talking and sitting together. When the woman’s aunt was placed in a nursing facility and her mother had just recently passed away, Brooke learned of the woman’s challenging circumstances.
They decided to start having lunch together every Thursday while they talked. More than 1.7 million people liked, shared, and commented on Brooke’s post about her new friend.
