Okay, so the advice might not be all that tempting, but the star has flawless, wrinkle-free skin. She claims it’s only because her grandmother taught her a skincare trick.
In her latest interview with British GQ, Salma said that she hasn’t washed her face in the morning since she was a teenager.
“I learned from my grandmother not to wash my face in the morning. Guys, it’s not repulsive,” said the actress.
“I never wash my face first thing in the morning. I learned from my grandmother that your skin restores what you’ve lost during the day.”
Furthermore, why would it be unclean when I wake up if I cleaned it at night?” Hayek stated.

However, few people agree with Salma’s strategy and believe that skipping washing your face in the morning is bad for your skin.
Regarding Salma’s skin care regimen, one specialist, Bruce Green, stated:
“As much as I adore Salma, I disagree with her grandmother’s opinion on skin care. One of the most important things you can do for your skin is to cleanse it.”
Bruce, the creator of SOS Serum Skincare and a chemist, advised people to wash their face first thing in the morning because their skin collects a lot of dirt and pollutants throughout the day.

“If you don’t cleanse your skin twice a day, your pores will get clogged and your skin will look dull,” he stated.
Speaking to the actress face-to-face, Bruce noted that while he likes her movies, he doesn’t like her skin care regimen.
“Salmo – I like your movies but not your skincare advice!”
