The termination of Tucker Carlson from Fox News left many of his supporters and viewers wondering why such a talented and bright individual would be let go.
When Fox News abruptly fired Tucker Carlson on Monday, he was more than the highest-rated anchor on television.
The 53-year-old media veteran is also a champion of women, as he recently revealed in an interview that stunned many. He is a parent, a husband, a friend to those who have had the pleasure of knowing him, and even a wonderful stranger to run into in the park.
It only seems appropriate to recall the interview, which The Western Journal first reported less than three weeks ago, when Carlson was still on the air and at a time when he was free from television censors and could be himself. That’s because Fox News fired him.
Carlson joined the NELK Boys on their “FULL SEND” podcast in March, where he gave a glimpse into his thoughts and emotions that his Fox News audience has rarely seen. Between YouTube and TikTok, more than three million people watched it.
Carlson discussed UFOs and the paranormal while railing against media censorship and its disproportionate impact on culture.
But the conservative trailblazer suddenly opened up incredibly when he talked about how important women are to society and him personally.
The way he presented their subtle differences was so powerful that within weeks of the podcast airing, it went viral and gained respect outside of his core audience.
Carlson, who has been accused of misogyny for years, said on the show, “I like women.” They are completely different.
He admitted he didn’t fully understand their chat, but said: “I don’t need to, I’m married to one — 32 years — I have three daughters.”
He said of the young men who host the podcast: “I think they’re fascinating and engaging because they’re so different. I pay close attention to what they say.
When asked what he had discovered about women over the years, Carlson also answered without hesitation.
They are incredible – they compliment us, he noted. If we’re being completely honest, the average young man thinks women are stupid. It is easy to fool them. I can convince them to join me in bed.
Such judgments, Carlson says, are often made by those who haven’t spent enough time around women to understand what makes femininity unique.
“The reason [men] feel this way is because women have a completely different way of seeing the world that’s innate, innate, and their brains are measurably different,” Carlson said eloquently.
That’s why I hate the transgender movement because it pretends that a guy with a male brain who is in no way female can’t have plastic surgery to turn himself into a female. It is disrespectful to women’s complexity and mysticism.
“They are amazing,” he concluded. “They’re not going to sit and dip into [tobacco], but they have a lot of other crazy views on people,” the spokesman said. It makes you think critically and in a very different way about the world.
Additionally, Carlson warned that spending too much time with women can make men “wiser.”
When the video went viral on TikTok, one woman wrote: “Wow, I like him after this,” while another wrote: “This interview made me see a different side of him.”
These notes seemed endless.
Carlson didn’t die and go to heaven or get imprisoned in the Gulag.
However, he lost a very important platform. Tucker Carlson is a very wise man, which explains why.
Over the years, he engaged in several heated arguments with strong opponents and won them all with his excellent arguments.
But Carlson has also shown himself to be a man of incredible depth outside of his comfort zone, which is the anchor chair.
Carlson won new admirers earlier this month by being allowed to be himself in an environment different from his usual communication style.
It’s important to keep in mind the type of person the network has decided to cut ties with in light of his surprising absence from Fox News tonight and every other night.
Carlson successfully mediated conservatism in challenging ways. He challenged the country’s far left just as he challenged Republican conventional wisdom.
No one is better off today—except those who despise such concepts as national sovereignty, life, liberty, and truth—as a result of his voice being essentially silenced.
Perhaps we should all keep that in mind as we evaluate the corporation that fired him without cause.
As we evaluate Fox News’ decision to terminate Carlson, it’s important to remember the kind of person he was and the impact he had on his viewers. Carlson was not afraid to speak his mind and challenge conventional thinking, and he was respected by many for his ability to do so thoughtfully and insightfully.
Carlson’s termination is a loss for both Fox News and its viewers. It remains to be seen what the future holds for this talented individual, but he will be missed by many.
