There are children in the foster care system who do not have the right to be placed in the same family home as their biological siblings. K’lin told WFAA, rubbing a tissue over his eyes, that he was crying because “I don’t want to see my dad every day.” WFAA anchor Cynthia Izaguire first met the boys in November 2017, when Kay’Lynn was 7 and Trey was just 10 years old. “You’re pretty much the only thing still in each other, aren’t you? You want to make sure you’re with him, don’t you?” Izaguir questioned Trey, who could only answer by nodding as he began to cry in response to the question.
The brothers knew that they could only rely on each other for help. But having no choice, they were forced to accept the option of visiting only once a month. Tre and K’Lynn had a hard time being apart whenever they saw each other because they never wanted to leave their relationship. Izaguire got a straight answer from Tre when he asked the boy if he could get what he wanted when he interviewed him.

Both Tre and K’Lynn are truly fortunate to have a loving father who will adopt them and raise them as their own. “The thing that really makes sense to me is being able to give them a forever home and knowing that they’ll be mine forever,” Beck added. “I’m impressed with them. “With my best love.” Tre responded with a broad smile and the words “I’m going home” when asked what happened next.
The boys’ older brother was also a member of Wednesday’s children’s program, and Beck welcomed him after reading a news report about him. Beck has arrested three of the boys who went to Wednesday’s girl. Having adopted her herself, she said, her desire to do the same for orphaned children and give them the love and acceptance that was also in her heart.
