MOST-22 Sue Radford says she is “broken” by the loss of her best friend’s daughter.
Sophie Walker, 17, died last night after suffering from Wilms Tumor, a rare type of kidney cancer, for seven years.
Online tributes were led by Sue, the mother of Britain’s biggest family. Sue and her 43-year-old mother Rebecca are the closest of friends.
In her tragic Instagram comment, the 48-year-old mother described Sophie as a “kind-hearted, funny, and brave girl”.
“Our hearts are broken, Sophie. You were the kindest, most compassionate, funniest, and bravest girl I have ever met,” she wrote.
“Sophie, we will truly miss your beautiful laugh and smile. Rest and take care of your lovely family, please.”

Chloe, Sue’s daughter, wrote in her letter: “Absolutely heartbreaking.” What a bold and attractive girl.
“There are no words. I am thinking of you all and sending lots of strength and love.
Her sister Sophia described her as “the most beautiful and bravest girl”. It breaks our hearts.
Katie, who is also Radford’s child, expressed her love and affection to everyone.
She also reposted the image to her Instagram stories, adding the words “I love you Sophie” and a depressed emoji. I will never forget the beautiful times we shared.
Shortly after learning she had cancer on October 25, 2017, the brave teenager began four weeks of chemotherapy.
Over the years, she experienced two periods of remission followed by four episodes of illness.
Megan, her 17-year-old twin, was there when she died.
In their post, Sophie’s family said: “Our beautiful, smart, funny and brave girl Sophie fell fast asleep with Megan by her side just after 6.30 pm last night.” Sophie died.
“To say we are devastated would be an understatement.
Our world will never be the same because we love her so much.
“Please keep our broken family in your thoughts and prayers, this is a post I never thought I would have to write.
