It was a quiet evening, the one that promised to be full of heat and laughter.
Angela, a single mother, spent the whole afternoon preparing dinner for herself and her young daughter Penny. She knew a little, the storm was about to cook just in front of her window to force her to face the true nature of her rich, justified neighbor.
When she put the last meal on the table, ready to call her daughter, the sound of the glass came through the house – he emerged not only from her window but also from the peace that worked so hard.
And it all started with a ruthless throw of baseball. What followed would develop in a way that Angela could never have imagined.
When Angela carefully placed the last meal on the dining table, she called her sweet six-year-old daughter Penny to join her. Like her, a sudden, deafening accident, broke the peaceful moment. The sound of the broken glass filled the room when the living room window exploded into countless shards, scattered across the floor and destroyed food that spent so much time preparing.
Penny trembled in fear and repeatedly asked what happened. The window came to fly baseball – excluded it less than the thumb.
Angela immediately wrapped her hands around her daughter and tried to calm her down, but deeply knew she had to face the one who was responsible for this reckless act.
Over the past few months, the adolescent son of their neighbor has turned into his personal field of baseball practice. The search wild feast had already caused trouble-one of them hit the older neighbor, sent him to the emergency room, and another hit Mrs. Harrison so hard from shock.
To protect themselves, many neighbors resorted to placing the wooden boards over the windows and feared the damage that this boy could cause another. But no one dared to confront his father – a rich, influential man who allowed his son to do how he liked it.
Everyone was afraid of him.
But Angela reached its limit. While she understood the importance of sports for children and teenagers, this boy acted as if the whole neighborhood belonged to him. She decided it was time to stand up.
Baseball was shining – now blurred with blueberry cake from where he landed – marched into her neighbor’s house, where she found the father of a boy who polished his luxury car.
She explained what happened and stressed that his son had broken her window and almost hit Penny.
But instead of apologizing, the man looked at her with complete arrogance. He denied any responsibility self -self-residence and claimed that he had no evidence that his son was involved.
He refused to pay for the damage and refused directly and said he had more important things like organizing a rich birthday party. To make it not even worse when Angela turned and left, he turned on the sprayers and soaked it from head to toe.
Frustrated, but helpless, Angela went home because she knew there was nothing more she could do. The man took care of himself.
Later that evening, when the guests began to come to his extravagant party, Angela saw her broken window for a glimpse of the festivities. The scene was exactly what awaited-Hudba, flashing disco lights, and impressive extensions from two top catering companies.
But then something unexpected happened.
A group of young men, dressed in football jerseys and carrying balls, gathered in front of the rich neighbor’s home. Without hesitation, they stood up and released the football balls directly into the house sending the glass breaking in all directions.
The guests shouted in shock when Windows broke one by one. The neighbor, now furious, tried to chase the culprits, but they were young and too fast for him.
The next morning Angela heard loudly and knocked hard on her door. When she opened it, her neighbor stood there and raged.
“You destroyed my party!” Accused.
Angela remained calm. “What are you talking about?”
“Don’t play stupid! It was you! ” Paral.
She smiled slightly. “Do you have proof that it was me?” She asked, repeating the words that told her the day before.
He was shining and angry, attacked.
A few hours later, Mrs. Harrison stopped at Angel’s house with a conscious smile.
“Did you like the show last night?” She asked.
Angela, still surprised by what happened, asked, “Wait … Mrs. Harrison, was it you?”
With a laugh, the older woman revealed the truth – her grandson’s football team owed her a favor and she just called it.
Angela stood there, her frustration and anger slowly melted as she listened to Mrs. Harrison. Despite all the injustice she had endured, it seemed that the karma finally caught up with an arrogant neighbor in the most unexpected way. A spoiled man who believed his wealth and influence could protect him from the consequences of his actions he learned a valuable lesson.
Angela stood up for her daughter, and although she didn’t get immediate satisfaction when she saw her neighbor’s apology, the tables turned in a way she could never anticipate. The bad turning of fate proved that justice does not sometimes come from the authorities but from the hands of those who are quietly watching and waiting for the right moment to act.
When she watched Mrs. Harrison leave with a conscious smile, Angela realized that while some battles could be difficult, there is always a chance that the universe will balance the scales in its own way. As far as a neighbor is concerned, he was left to choke in his anger, helpless to cancel the damage caused by the same carefree attitude he once used to the advantage of the people around him.
