A few weeks ago I had this strange experience. You won’t believe this but it is true for me, my mother-in-law, my husband, and HIS MRS. They ended up trying to kick me out of MY OWN HOUSE!
For starters, everything in this house belongs to me. I own a company that has provided funding for every wall, window, and piece of furniture. My company is my pride and joy, which I built from the ground up with a lot of hard work.
My husband, Stan, never paid the bills or the mortgage. I am the sole owner of this house, my haven. Imagine my surprise when they tried to take it from me.
Wednesday night my husband Stan was away in Miami so I stayed home and watched the TV show. (I’ll explain why my husband went on vacation without me later; I know you’re curious.)

Suddenly someone rang the intercom. When I got to the door, a woman with a child appeared on the intercom screen.
I thought, ‘Someone’s at the wrong door. “How can I help you?” was the chat we were having when I opened the door. he asked.
I will be your ex-husband’s bride. I will live here now. She introduced herself as May, his daughter, and I was amazed at her confidence.
“Excuse me? What topic are you discussing?” I managed to stutter.

“Stan told me everything. You two are apart. I can live here until we get our own apartment,” he added.
“That’s ridiculous! We’re not apart. He’s just on vacation.”
But he didn’t tell me that. I have nowhere else to go now.”

“You can’t stay here, sorry. You have to go.”
“Look, I’m homeless and broke. My lease is up. I believed this matter was settled.”

“I’ve never heard anything like that from Stan.
This is my home.”

“You would say that,” he said. You can afford a motel, he added.”
I heard things I couldn’t believe.
Stan allegedly informed this woman that we were legally separated when he met her under false pretenses. In addition, he claimed to own all of my assets and half of my business.
When she got pregnant, he started spending her money. Since I had no idea what he did with his money, I wasn’t concerned.

She just came to the door with her child because her lease on her apartment is up and he is now on vacation in Miami.
“This is absurd. You have to leave now,” I stated firmly.

“Not at all. I don’t plan on leaving. I have nowhere to go and Stan said it would be fine.”
“If you don’t leave, I’ll call the police.”

“Go ahead. I’ll stay here.”
I ran out of options. I locked myself in the greenhouse and called the police because she didn’t even come out. She was in the living room unpacking the child’s clothes when the police arrived.

She also somehow called my mother-in-law, who also showed up. They both started yelling and claiming they were entitled to half of my house because Stan owned it before the divorce.
“This is absurd,” I shouted over their cacophony. “You can’t just take half the house from me!”

“Stan deserves his share!” my mother-in-law insisted with an angry blush on her face. “After the divorce, he should get what is rightfully his.”

The lady repeated, “We want fifty percent,” and pressed the child closer. “He filled me in on everything. Half of this house belongs to him.”
Trying not to freak out in the face of chaos, I took a deep breath. You both have to be very careful. I was only married by common law to Stan. After a divorce, there will be no property to divide.”

Their eyes widened in shock. The lady asked with a trembling voice, “What do you mean?”
“We never had a formal marriage. Stan lied to you. You are not entitled to any part of this house.”

“That’s not possible,” my mother-in-law cried. “He wouldn’t lie about something like that.
“But he did,” I said firmly. “He lied to both of you.

The lady appeared on the verge of tears. She went to my mother-in-law trying to get comfort. “He said everything was taken care of,” she mumbled as tears welled up in her eyes.

With a pale and tense face, my mother-in-law remained speechless. She finally seemed to realize how much Stan had lied.
The lady mumbled softly, “Let’s go.”

“There’s nothing we can do here.
But before they left I noticed a baby bottle on the table. Something clicked in my head. I took the bottle and put it in my bag as they gathered their things.

The next day I went to the DNA testing facility with a baby bottle and a few strands of Stan’s hair from his brush. I needed to get confirmation of a suspicion I had.
The results came a few days later. The child was not Stan’s offspring.

Scanning the message, I couldn’t help but feel a sad sense of satisfaction. All of Stan’s lies were falling apart. I gave Stan a picture of the results along with a blunt statement, “Look who you’ve turned me into.”
He answered right away. He texted, “What does that mean?”

“That means you’ve been cheated,” I replied.
“Just like you tried to play with me.
There was no comment after that. I could only imagine the tumultuous effect such news would have on him.
Over the next few days, I began to feel well again. Now that my home was peaceful again, I could watch my series without any interruptions. I was shocked by Stan’s duplicity, but it also made me stronger. I faced his lies and overcame them.
One evening I was sitting in my living room when my mother-in-law called. At first, I hesitated to answer, but my curiosity got the better of me.
“I’m really sorry,” she added wearily. “I had no idea Stan was lying to us all.
“It’s not your fault,” I replied. “We’ve all been cheated.
She let out a long sigh. “If there is anything I can do to help, please let me know.
I told her to take care of herself. “We all have to move on from this.
I felt a sense of relief as soon as I put the phone down. Now that the truth was known, I could finally begin to heal. My peace returned along with my house.
My friend crossed all boundaries with his pranks and I taught him a lesson he will never forget.
Sophie’s world is full of unexpected twists because of her biggest prankster lover, Max. His antics can light up any room, but if he takes it too far, it can set off a domino effect that can end in disaster.
Will their love stand the test of comedy and patience? Embark on their erratic journey to find out.
I’m Sophie, a 20-year-old university student who enjoys reading and quiet nights. That is, until I met my partner Max a year ago and things took an incredibly surprising turn.
Max is a 29-year-old graphic designer who is the kind of person who is hard to ignore. He has a huge personality and a loud laugh. His wild sense of humor can light up any space he enters.
He was the life of the party when we first met, pulling innocent jokes and pranks that made everyone laugh at a birthday party for a mutual acquaintance.
His easy ability to make people laugh and his magnetism attracted me.
From that moment on, our relationship blossomed into a whirlwind of unexpected events and hilarity.
Max is one of my favorite things because of his lively nature. He’s the type who arranges last-minute trips, scribbles funny comments in my textbooks, and always knows when I need to cheer up.
Our days together are colorful and full of surprises because he is creative in all aspects of his life, not just at work.
Meanwhile, living with a lifelong snitch also means I have to be constantly on the lookout for his next clever plan.
Despite the initial shock and frustration, the suffering associated with Stan’s fraudulent actions proved to be a significant turning point in my life. Confronting his lies and the false claims of his lover and mother-in-law eventually allowed me to reclaim my space and peace. Realizing that the child was not Stan’s added another layer of confirmation to my own suspicions and further revealed the extent of his deception.
The pivotal moment was the confrontation with my mother-in-law and Stan’s lover. It exposed not only Stan’s dishonesty but his lack of respect for the truth and the impact his lies had on everyone involved. Support from my mother-in-law, despite her initial shock, and confirmation from the DNA results allowed me to move forward with a renewed sense of clarity and control.
As I returned to my daily life and found solace in routine, I also began to appreciate the newfound peace and safety of my home. This experience was unsettling but strengthened my strength and determination. I took this opportunity to rebuild my life and focus on my well-being.
Dealing with Stan’s betrayal ultimately proves a valuable lesson in self-empowerment. He emphasized the importance of facing delusion and standing firm in the face of adversity. As I walked through the aftermath, I emerged stronger, more confident, and ready to take on the next chapter of my life with confidence and resilience.
