The creator of the famous Duck Duck Jeep phenomenon has died unexpectedly.
Allison’s parliamentary group says she has died.
The Duck Duck Jeep craze started in 2020 after Parliament was spotted dressing up a foreign Jeep as a rubber duck.
According to Parliament, she did so in response to an unpleasant encounter she had in a small Canadian town.
Subsequently, her acts of kindness were imitated by other jeep drivers.
Since then, people have covered their cars in ducks of all sizes and shapes.
The movement swept across North America and eventually around the world.
“Many years later, that single gesture has turned into a Jeep craze that has swept the Jeep enthusiast community in the United States as well as dozens of other countries around the world,” Duck Duck Jeep said in a statement.
Nothing is known about the cause of the dissolution of parliament.
Jeep Ducking and Jeepers fans have paid tribute to the great lady on her Facebook page.
She has received much recognition for her efforts to spread joy and goodwill.
“I am so sorry and shocked to hear of your death!” someone wrote.
“I know you made such an impression with the duck love you spread everywhere.
Another fan added: “So sorry to hear about your passing.”
“You have made a huge difference in the crazy world we live in now. The world will be without you.
Several Jeeps have honored her memory by displaying photos of their ducks or expressing plans to continue her work.
“I will miss you so much Allison,” several people wrote.
“I am extremely happy to have met and befriended you. I am especially grateful that you introduced jeeps to the little rubber ducks.”
“In your honor, we will carry on the tradition!”
The Fall Festival was held every year as the Duck Duck Jeep grew in popularity.
In 2020, Parliament moved from Alabama to Ontario, Canada to be closer to her family.
Oh, and she was the driver of Can Bam, a 2018 Jeep Wrangler. Ollie was her dog’s name.
