We’re all sick of trying to look twenty-five all the time. I realize most people my age won’t acknowledge their gray hair, but it’s a reality.”
Deciding to accept the body she now inhabits, Emily began turning gray at the age of 19. She said in the video, “I’ve never had Botox, I don’t wear makeup, and I’ve never had any work done,” adding that the bags under her eyes caused her son’s restless nights.
Creating an estimate

Many people guessed and were wrong. “One woman guessed you’re my age, maybe a few years younger, and I’m 57. One person said, ‘You’re in your late 40s,’ while another said, ‘Those are wrinkles, fine lines around your eyes.’, complexion and gray hair.” Surprisingly, several people continued to take chances and guess incorrectly even after she revealed her real age of 36.

To be polite, I’d say you’re 37, but you actually look 44. When asked by an older woman, another person said, “It’s the skin under the eyes and the hair.”

As in, almost retirement age?” She asked, continuing, “I think it’s essential to remember that what you see on social media and what you see on TV or what you’ve seen in magazines and people have been saying for years is not real.”
