You’re allowed to be this angry for as long as it takes and you don’t have to be finished with it by dinner.

It’s not going to make me go away.”

And he said, “How do I know that.”

And I said, “You don’t.

That’s the actual answer.

You don’t know that and you can’t, and the only thing I can do about it is keep turning up until you do, and that takes years and there’s no shortcut.
