Don’t Let Your Mother Answer for You
Not an anonymous envelope.
That is what people always assume and it is wrong.
It came in an email from a woman named Dana who had been in our unit’s family readiness group, with a subject line that said I wasn’t sure whether to send this and I’m probably wrong, and a message that was four lines long and, I think now, entirely well-meant.
