I have been asked to speak about this three times — twice at continuing education events for physicians and once at a training day for family law attorneys in Bexar County, which is the one that matters.
I say four things.
One. If you have legal rights to your child’s medical information, exercise them on a schedule.
Not when you are worried.
Annually, whether or not you are worried, so that the first time you do it is not the time something is wrong.
