Forty-Eight Hours
You need the order and identification and a records request form.
In most states you may also request your child’s prescription history.
It costs a copying fee and an afternoon.
And the argument I make to the parents who go quiet at this point, because they always do, is: if everything is fine, you will have spent an afternoon establishing that everything is fine, and you will have a complete medical history for your own child, which you should have anyway, and which you will be grateful for the first time you are in an emergency department at two in the morning.
Two. Write down the questions you do not ask.
