The work that exists in the space where families need somebody and cannot afford an agency and do not ask many questions.

She worked for Claudia Vance’s sister for fourteen months in 2021 and 2022.

And in the November of last year, Claudia Vance telephoned her and offered her four thousand dollars a week, in cash, to look after a child at a property, with the explanation that it was a custody matter — that a mother had taken the child abroad, that the father had recovered her, that there was a court fight, and that the child could not be at the father’s address while it was going on.
