George Brought a Sealed Legal Folder to His Son’s Wedding in an Atlanta Hotel
At six thirty, Brenda Lawson knocked on my open office door.
She carried a thick manila folder and a yellow legal pad covered in her crisp handwriting.
“I finished drafting the master commercial lease agreement for the Crown Plaza Hotel,” Brenda said.
She walked over to my oak desk and spread the printed pages out under my brass reading lamp.
“Does it include the standard property management clauses?” I asked.
Brenda opened her fountain pen cap with a sharp click.
“Every operating detail is locked in,” Brenda said.
