Moving Robe Woman (Tȟašína Máni) — The Hunkpapa Lakota Woman Who Rode Into The Battle Of Little Bighorn After Learning Her Brother Had Been Killed
She did not write a memoir.
She did not give extended interviews in the way that some other Lakota veterans of the battle — notably Two Moon, the Cheyenne leader, or the Oglala warrior He Dog — did with historians and journalists in the years after Little Bighorn.
What has been preserved are accounts attributed to her, some in versions that have passed through multiple tellings and translations.
The historian David Humphreys Miller, who collected accounts from Lakota and Cheyenne veterans of the battle in the 1930s and 1940s, included material attributed to her.
