Facial reconstructions are genuine scientific approximations, constrained by real skeletal and genetic data.

The commonalities between different reconstructions of the same specimen do reflect real information about that individual’s appearance.

The dark skin, dark eyes, and dark hair of Zlatý kůň are robustly supported by the genomic evidence, and all three reconstructions correctly represent these features.

The overall cranial proportions, faithfully reflected in all three, convey real information about the skull’s size and shape.

But the understanding is also not entirely right.
