Part Fourteen: Eleven Days
Here is my part and I am going to do it without softening it, because I have had three years and a therapist and the softened versions are all available and none of them survives contact with a calendar.
I looked for eleven days.
I called the building.
I called two friends.
I emailed her old work address twice.
I drove to a town in Ohio where I knew her mother had lived and found that her mother had died in 2016, which I knew, and I turned round.
On day eleven I sent a letter to the last address I had, which came back.
