I pulled up the security-camera app on my phone.

Months earlier we had installed a camera at the front door and another facing the driveway after someone stole packages from the porch.

Both recordings were saved automatically to a cloud account.

In the video, Harold arrived at 5:12 a.m., nearly three hours before Tessa woke.

He carried a large tote in his left hand and the wrapped gift in his right.

He checked behind him before placing the tote beside the side entrance.
